Villo

That yellow bikes seem to be popping up all over the place. There are now 5000 bikes in use, distributed over 360 stations in several Brussels boroughs.

Electric bikes

  • Lyme (by Uber): Lyme is a service included in the UBER app. It is present in most Brussels communes and in around 20 cities throughout the world. There are no recharging stations.
  • Billy Bike : with over 600 bikes is very simple to use – your smartphone is the key. You can take a Billy Bike and leave it wherever you want when you have finished. There are no recharging stations. 
  • Other options : Dott, Bluebike, Monkey Donkey and Tier.

Pro vélo

Their services are aimed at making cycling accessible to everyone through personal support. This way, Pro Velo contributes to a better quality of life!

You can also rent bikes also from Pro Velo offering city-bikes, tandems and children’s bikes.

They also proposes guided cycling tours.

Bike point

Do you want to go on a long bike ride? If so, it is best to go to a ‘point vélo’-Bike point. They are near Brussels’ railway stations. The Nord and Luxembourg ‘points vélo’ mainly have folding bikes to rent; the Central ‘point vélo’ has mainly comfortable city-bikes (with 7 gears). Check the prices and opening times on the website.
