Electric kick scooters

Scooters are mainly found in the busy areas of Brussels. However, the movement of their users means that you can now find them in the communes furthest from the city center (Uccle, Watermael-Boitsfort, Anderlecht, etc.)
For all operators, you need to download their respective applications onto your smartphone, and then register.
Once you have done this, you simply choose a scooter that is parked on the street, scan its barcode, take a photo of it and drive away. The rental ends as soon as you terminate it via the application. The scooter must be parked in a place that does not disturb passers-by and a photo taken to prove it.

Since July 2022, electric scooters are no longer allowed to be driven on the pavement and it is forbidden to drive them under the age of 16.

Please note: on pavements (sidewalks), your speed must not exceed walking speed. If you do exceed this speed, you will be considered a cyclist. In this case, you are required to use cycle paths with a maximum speed of 25 km/h (rule in force since 31 May 2019). To see all the relevant regulations, we urge you to visit the site
